AYSO is a parent-based all volunteer organization. We depend on volunteers to help in all areas of our organization to run a smooth and successful region and give our children a positive and safe experience

5U - 8U Core Program

5U-6U

Each team is comprised of one Coach with 6 players.
Games will begin Sept. 14, 2024.
All games will be played at Colonel Mitchell Paige Middle School
Each Saturday your player will have a short 20 min practice then play a 20 min 3 vs 3 game against another 5U OR 6U team
This division does not have weeknight practices.
The season lasts 8-10 weeks.
Shin Guards are required. Only soccer Cleats or sneakers are allowed.
Player Fees come with a uniform (shorts, jersey, socks), soccer ball, photo package, participation trophy/medal

Each 8U team is comprised of one Coach with 8 players.
Games will begin Sept. 14, 2024 with practice beginning the week before.
You will get a call from a coach 1 week before the first game.
All games will be played at Colonel Mitchell Paige Middle School
Each Saturday your player will have a 40 min game with 20 min halves of 6 v 6.
Games will be scheduled between 8am - 1pm.
One practice a week for 1 hr, coaches' choice
The season lasts 8-10 weeks.

10U - 14U Core Program

10U - 14U

September 28, 2024 - FIRST GAME
PRACTICES BEGIN 1 WEEK BEFORE THE FIRST GAME.
PRACTICES ARE TWICE A WEEK. EITHER ON MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHTS OR TUESDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHTS (all up to your coach).
GAMES ARE ON SATURDAYS WITH THE OCCASIONAL FRIDAY NIGHT GAMES.
YOUR PLAYER FEES COMES WITH A UNIFORM (shorts, jersey, socks), A SOCCER BALL, PHOTO PACKAGE, AND PARTICIPATION TROPHY/MEDAL.
ONLY SOCCER CLEATS OR TENNIS SHOES ARE ALLOWED FOR GAMES AND PRACTICES. FOOTBALL AND BASEBALL CLEATS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
SHIN GUARDS ARE REQUIRED AT EVERY PRACTICE AND EVERY GAME.
NEW PLAYERS THAT HAVE NEVER PLAYED IN OUR REGION WILL NEED TO ATTEND ONE OF OUR EVALUATION EVENTS.
EACH TEAM IS GUARANTEED 10 GAMES.
EACH TEAM MUST ACCUMULATE REFEREE POINTS IN ORDER TO ADVANCE TO THE REGIONAL PLAYOFFS BEGINNING AFTER THE WINTER BREAK. THIS PLAYOFF TOURNAMENT LASTS 2-4 WEEKS.
TOP TEAMS FROM OUR REGIONAL TOURNAMENT WILL ADVANCE TO THE AREA H PLAYOFFS TOURNAMENT PLAYED IN FEBRUARY WHICH LASTS 3 WEEK.
TOP TEAMS FROM OUR AREA H PLAYOFFS WILL ADVANCE TO OUR SECTION 1 TOURNAMENT PLAYED IN LATE FEBRUARY FOR ONE WEEKEND
TOP TEAMS FROM OUR SECTION 1 TOURNAMENT WILL ADVANCE TO THE WEST REGION TOURNAMENT IN MARCH FOR ONE WEEKEND.

SEASON BEGINS IN MID SEPTEMBER AND ENDS BY THANKSGIVING. (JUST BEFORE HIGH SCHOOL SEASON BEGINS)
TEAMS WILL PLAY AGAINST OTHER DESERT CITIES
BOYS TEAMS WILL HAVE HOME GAMES ON THURSDAY NIGHTS AND SOME SATURDAYS
GIRL TEAMS WILL HAVE HOME GAMES ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS AND SOME SATURDAYS
Player Fees come with a uniform (shorts, jersey, socks), soccer ball, photo package.

The AYSO EPIC Very Important Players Program (VIP)

Our EPIC VIP Program provides a quality soccer experiment for children and adults whose physical or mental disabilities make it difficult to successfully participate on mainstream teams. VIP teams may include:

Blind or visually impaired
Amputees or with conditions that impair mobility
Mentally or emotionally challenged
Autistic
Down Syndrome
Cerebral Palsy

Spring Select Program

SPRING SELECT
Our Spring Select Season is a secondary program that is dedicated to building fundamental skills for selected players in the 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 19U divisions. The Spring Select program is a Coach and Player selected program. Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches from the Fall season will submit a Spring Select Coach application when prompted. These applications will be voted on by the board. Appointed Spring Select Coaches will select their own players for their teams from players that played in our Fall Season. A player must play at least half the Fall Season games to qualify. The season begins in March and lasts thru July. The teams will have an 8-10 game season playing against other select teams here in the valley. Our home games and games against Indio will all be on Friday nights. Games against other Desert cities and out of the valley areas will be played on either Saturday mornings or weeknights. Playoffs for select are in late May. Teams then also travel and participate in tournaments. The cost per player is $275. Each player gets a custom hoodie, custom bag, and two uniforms.
